Awesome sushi! Service was quick. It's a great spot, but parking's a nightmare; street parking's always an option, but it eats into your dinner time.

Tobiko is my go-to place for sushi and Japanese food in my neighborhood, and it never disappoints. Every dish has always been fresh and savory. I think all the menu items are reasonably priced considering the generous portions and high quality. Very friendly and kind staff. It's amazing addition in my neighborhood indeed!! Especially I love salmon sushi, spicy cream udon, futo maki, yaki udon, shrimp fried rice, mad for crab and seafood nabe udon!! I took pictures every time I ordered from tobiko as all menus are visually stunning

It’s a small and cozy place to eat. My daughter had the unagi don bowl and that was impressive. It’s a sizeable bowl filled with rice infused with egg and 4 large strips of unagi. It looked amazing and my daughter said it was very very good. My son had the chicken teriyaki and said it was good. My wife had the Wafu steak and it was cooked beautifully. Nicely grilled outside, very pink inside and thinly sliced on a bed of veggies and sauce. She added a side of rice to it but did not even touch it. She’s not much a meat eater but she really liked that dish. I had the spicy trio of sushi. Sizeable pieces and pretty good. We also had the assorted tempura, edamame and the tako wasabi appetizers. The tako wasabi was quite an experience. Spicy, unique, very salty.... SO GOOD. This is a very nice restaurant. My family and I will definitely return. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Nice and new upscale Japanese restaurant. We went last night and enjoyed our food and the modern atmosphere of the restaurant. We shared several apps and a main and left quite full and satisfied, I, (Canadian born and raised) thought the food was well seasoned; while my guest (Japanese born and new to Canada) wished the food had a little more Umami flavoring. But we both agree it was plated beautifully and would come back again.

My husband and I have been living in the Kingsway area in Etobicoke for years, but having hard time to find a decent Japanese restaurant in the area. Tobiko has become our go-to place when we are craving for Japanese food. We've tried the spicy seafood udon, unagi Don, mixed sashimi, sushi and spicy salmon roll, all were very good, ingredients were very fresh. As for the flavoring, it was on mild side, which means it was lighter and healthier Looking forward to trying more stuff.

Went there for my birthday dinner - so happy that we have such great quality sushi so nearby! It was our second time there, and just like the first time the service was amazing and the food was delicious and super fresh. 10/10, will be back for sure.
